In your loving embrace, dear Maa,
hold my tiny hand,
Guide me through this World
so vast and grand.
I wish to play, to explore, to feel free,
But this burden on my
shoulders trouble me.
What is this weight,
Maa, I can’t understand?
I long to leap,
dance, and embrace the land.
With each tiny step,
my feet seem to freeze,
In this quiet confusion,
I seek some ease.
Maa, why do I stumble,
why can’t I soar,
Am I not capable of happiness,
Forevermore?
Yearning for carefree days,
to explore, to dream,
Yet, my steps echo silence,
a muffled scream.
Am I not deserving, Maa,
for the joy I seek,
Destined to bear this burden, silent and
meek?
Do I embrace the lingering darkness?
Or can I break free,
to pluck the fruits of happiness?
Maa, in your warm embrace, help me find,
The solace and guidance to ease my mind.
Hold my tiny hands, Maa, give me a kiss,
With your love, I’ll find my bliss.
